What Is PCAA? Definition & Meaning in Aviation

PCAA is an abbreviation commonly used for the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, the national body that regulates civil aviation in Pakistan and provides air navigation services.

In plain language

It oversees airline safety, airport and air traffic services, and handles passenger complaints in some cases. Pakistan’s authority is often called the CAA.

Example

A passenger with an unresolved airline complaint can contact the aviation authority; see our guide for the steps.

Why it matters

The aviation authority sets the rules airlines operate under and receives complaints from passengers. Knowing its role tells you where to turn if an airline does not resolve a dispute.
